Se les brinda atención espiritual.

Asisten en su mayoría a las celebración es religiosas, reciben la Santa Comunión y demás actos que se realizan

ACTIVIDADES PRODUCTIVAS

Promoción del trabajo asociativo de los Adultos Mayores en manualidades para adquirir un ingreso si es posible para uso personal de cada Adulto Mayor

INTERACIÓN CULTURAL

Integración con la comunidad por medio de las actividades desarrolladas en el municipio y el departamento, asistencia a charlas con la psicóloga, encuentros intergeneracionales y familiares entre otras que contribuyan al nivel de vida del adulto mayor.

SALUD: SERVICIOS BÁSICOS DE AUXILIAR DE ENFERMERÍA

Promoción de vida saludable. Contamos con dos Auxiliares de Enfermería que atiende en las enfermedades prioritarias como son toma de tensión arterial, capacidad física, peso y talla, pendientes de sus controles médicos y demás novedades y pueda colaborar.
Se les ofrece la presencia de una Psicóloga y fisioterapeuta semanalmente una jornada con una profesional.

DEPORTE Y RECREACIÓN

Se realizan actividades deportivas por el profesional encargado de deportes; tales como, como caminatas, ejercicios, bailes, teatro, juegos autóctonos, karaoke y películas.

ALIMENTOS Y NUTRICION

Ingesta necesaria de niveles proteico-calóricos y nutrientes, basados en las minutas elaboradas por la nutricionista. Se obsequia las medias nueves y el almuerzo de lunes a viernes.

Guía Espiritual

El párroco del municipio realiza una ceremonia cada mes en la institución, las damas voluntarias visitan semanalmente para llevar la comunión y en ocasiones especiales son llevados todos los adultos mayores son al templo con ayuda de la policía nacional.

Interacción Social y Cultural

Integración con la comunidad por medio de las actividades desarrolladas en el municipio y el departamento, encuentros intergeneracionales y familiares; en conjunto con las visitas realizadas por los estudiantes del colegio, conocidos y amigos, o aquellos que por uno u otro motivo deciden brindarles una tarde agradable para contribuir al nivel de vida del adulto mayor.

Acompañamiento

Durante el día hay tres empleadas en capacidad de responder a las necesidades de los adultos mayores y en la noche una Acompañante se queda a hacer compañía estando alerta de cualquier situación que se pueda presentar.

Atención de Salud

Alimentación

Ingesta necesaria de niveles proteico-calóricos y nutrientes. De lunes a domingo son preparados los alimentos de los adultos Mayores Internos, por la auxiliar de cocina de acuerdo a las minutas semanales elaboradas por la nutricionista para el desayuno, media mañana, almuerzo, onces y comida.

Recreación y actividades físicas

Aquellos adultos mayores internos que pueden desplazarse por su cuenta interactúan con los adultos mayores externos en diferentes actividades, por otra parte quienes no tienen la misma facilidad desarrollan manualidades y estiramiento físico; siguiendo las pautas del instructor de deportes de la institución.

Vivienda

Los adultos mayores internos son alojados en el hogar de bienestar del anciano con la posibilidad tener un techo, dormir en una habitación compartida, en una cama independiente con dotación de cobijas, almohadas, ropa junto con sus artículos personales, servicio de baño y demás.
